I download everything and then uploaded it to my server/host gator. I noticed that when I un-zipped the folder from the download there were 4 different folders/versions of of the cj over kill script. do I upload one of them or all of them? I tried uploading all of them and neither of them worked, so I just uploaded one of the folders and went from there. I followed everything correctly and still have no success. there was one thing I did not understand.
It says: "Load the cjoverkill-install.php script in your browser"
ok now how do I upload the install php in my browser, do I load it by going into the folder and opening it to edit or do I need to do it another way. Basically I need some more clearer instructions on how to install it or have someone do it for me.

Thank you

The different folders have different encodings and optimizations.
Some are specific for php 5.2 and others for php 5.3+ Also there is zend encoded and ioncube encoded version.
Just use the one that works with your host.

As for the cjoverkill-install.php, once uploaded to your site you can point your browser to http://www.example.com/cjoverkill-install.php

Remember to upload the CjOverkill files in binary mode. Most ftp clients will use text mode by default for transfering them and this may corrupt them during the transfer.

I had no success installing the script after trying everything that I could think of. I followed the directions to a T.. I assumed that I needed to use the cjoverkill_ioncube52 , files since my following server Program Versions as follows.

Apache:2.2.22 / CentOS:CentOS release 6.2 (Final) / cPanel:11.30.6 (build 6)
Curl:7.12.1 / MySQL 5.5.19 / php MyAdmin 3.4.9 / Python: 2.6.6 / Perl:5.8.8
PHP: 5.2.17 / ionCube Loader: 4.0.12b / Zend Optimizer: 3.3.9 / Ruby: 1.8.7
Rails: 2.3.14 / OpenSSL: 1.0.0-fips

I uploaded all the php files through fillezilla in binary mode then I uploaded the other files direct w/out in binary mode. and then the last file I added was the cj-conf.inc.php file not through binary mode. after uploading all the files, I went and change permissions for the cj-confic.php file to 666. after refreshing everything and then I put in the following link http://my domain/cjoverkill-install.php, I get ERROR 404 - PAGE NOT FOUND... My server is hostgator
I never had any issue's with doing this sort of thing in the past, maybe there is more to the script that i`m not understanding

You must point your browser to http://yoursite/cjoverkill-install.php
Assuming you have uploaded the CjOverkill files to the main directory of your site, then the above link would be ok.
Assuming you have uploaded the CjOVerkill files into a subdirectory calles cjoverkill then it should be:
http://yoursite/cjoverkill/cjoverkill-install.php
Just check where you uploaded the CjOverkill files and load that location into your browser.
