Hi,

maybe anyone here knows to help mew with my zend problem. I installed zend optimizer on my webserver and according to phpinfo it runs and is enabled. however when I start cjoverkill-install.php I receive the following fatal error :

Fatal error: This encoded file is corrupted. Please refer to http://www.zend.com/support/support_faq.php?id=loader_file_corrupt for further help in /var/www/vhosts/mysite/mysite.org/httpdocs/cj/cjoverkill-install.php on line 0

I am shure the file is not corrupt..
anyone else ever had this?

kind regards and thanks in advance,
misset

Make sure you are running Zend Optimizer 3.0 or newer version.

Then upload the php files in binary mode. Most ftp clients will try to upload them in text mode and will corrupt the encoded part.

yeah it works like charm now. it was the ftp client with ASCII mode on... in general though, should one always use the binary mode?

kind regards,

You must use binary transfer for all binary files like CGIs and encoded PHP, Perl and similar files.
