I run about 10 websites with this combination, Wordpress and Cjoverkill.
Everything works fine.

Yesterday I upgraded to Wordpress 2.9 and the Clicks are not counted properly.
The count are far below the where before, about 10% is left.

Any idea?

Robert

Wordpress version should not affect CjOverkill performance.

Are you sure the new wordpress version is working properly? It may be crashing on random surfers. Since the CjOverkill in.php include is added at the beginning of the wp index, if the wp script itself fails the in should be still counted.

Make sure your php config allows enough memory for WP to run properly, since this is the most common source of WP failure.

If you are using some wp cache module, it's very probable that it has also cached the out.php variables and output, and then some clicks would be not counted because CjOverkill will discard them as fake or duplicated.

Yes the site's are working fine no prob.

The Unig in is still working but there are almost no Clicks left.
I never had any problem with this combination before.
The problem is only on the three pages I upgraded.

If you are using some wp cache module.
No I do not use any cache module.

Are your links linked through the out.php?

Unless uoi stopped linking through out.php there should be no reason for the clicks to be not counted.

Are your links linked through the out.php?
Yes I do example: http://www.xxxxxx.xx/out.php?link=8filmplaatje&pct=85&url=http://www.wadda.be/old-man-his-two-hot-girls_babe

Always worked until the update.

I know it sounds strange but I can show you the other sites they are still working, only these three are not.
So I think something must have been changed, but I don't know what?!

Hey Wewillt

I don't suppose you could explain quickly how to use cj with wordpress. I have been wanting to add cj to my blogs for a while but don't quite undertstand the concept. I currently use cj on all my TGPs

Much Appreciated!

Looks like the updated site is not linking through the out.php... at least not all the links you had before. Perhaps a template issue?

Since the ins are practically the same, that is the only way to explain it.

The thing is on the three weblogs I use a different theme.
So I don't think it can be the template.

I was reading all day long about the problem trying to solve it but i didn't.
I think it must be something with caching but I can't anything about that.

I updated my mysql on the server
Strange that this is only happening to me.

But nothing so far :(

Problem solved!
It is Wordpress 2.9, there is a build in cache that's making the problems.

I turned back to 2.8.6 and after a few days everything working fine again.

I hope that it is possible to turn the caching off, that someone knows a solution.

did you use your old backup to get back to old version of wp you used before, i had problem with counting once when i upgraded wp to new version only trades with in and out php files were counted, my problem was that when wp upgraded, upgrade also change index.php file and there was in.php included so cj didnt count traffic.
